Sailing
During my time on the UPenn Sailing Team we built the program from the ground up. In four years both our co-ed and women’s team went from being unranked to consistently ranked within the top 20 collegiate teams in the nation. Through this experience I learned what it meant to be a competitor, teammate, peer, and leader. I, personally, and the team faced countless obstacles and challenges in which I had to come up with creative solutions. I learned to strategize and delegate responsibilities with my teammates, take on projects independently when appropriate, and engage external stakeholders to gain political support within the school and to secure the necessary financial support.

Implemented Training
During time as captain I created a weekly workout routine. Asked my peers to show for an additional 3 hours a week of training and had over a 90% attendance rate. I raised the money, booked the spaces, and worked with the varsity trainers to create an appropriate group workout and weightlifting program. Leading the group personally before all funding was secured.
6th at Nationals
I was the first woman in UPenn history to qualify and compete at individual college nationals, placing 9th in 2016, 7th in 2017, and 6th in 2018.
2 Year team Captain
Elected team captain for two consecutive years. Raised over $2 Million in funds to become varsity, hired and onboarded a full time coach.
